The character of the place was great, having kept the vault door in the bedroom made it really unique. The decor in the lobby and the historical artefacts of Oamaru was really interesting. The breakfast concept also suited us very well. All in all, it’s a very well designed boutique hotel with very nice and attentive staff. Definitely worth the stop.

Cardrona Hotel features an iconic on-site restaurant and bar. You can enjoy the picturesque gardens while sipping a drink on the patio. The hotel is instagrammable overall with every nook and cranny beautifully decorated with touches of a past era. The room smells good, the bed and mattress are comfortable (my daughter didn't want to get up!), the towels are thick & clean, the garden is beautiful and filled with flowers, and even the room window has flowers planted outside so it was a pretty sight even from inside the room. The dinner at the garden surrounded with these colorful blooms was a delight. The bar & restaurant staff are polite, friendly and attentive. I like that there is a self-service laundry room available for guests to use for a minimum fee. Parking is also available.

The Rees의 세련된 객실과 아파트에는 LCD TV가 마련되어 있습니다. 직원 분이 정말 친절하셨어요. 룸에서 직접 자세한 설명도 해 주셨어요. 침대에서 보는 호수 전망이 이제까지 봤던 호텔 뷰 중에 제일 좋았습니다. 나가면 바로 호수와 이어지는 길이 있어서 조용한 시간을 보냈어요. The man at the reception was super kind. He went to our room and made detailed explanation(so kind!!!) The lake view on our bed was stunning and the view was the best I've ever seen. If we go out and walk a little, there was a jetty so we spent peaceful and quiet time.

A very nice hotel which is very clean with friendly staff and all around good service ! Has a lot of convenience in the rooms like a microwave oven, washer and dryer!

This felt like a honeymoon suite and was the outstanding accommodation of our whole holiday exploring most of New Zealand. The bedroom was large and very comfortable with a delightful balcony and its bathroom was luxurious in every way. Breakfast was delicious and as stylish as the rest of the hotel, all prepared to order, not a buffet.
