We were only able to stay for one night in this lovely boutique hotel. If we could have afforded more then we would stayed longer. The staff was so lovely to us and they provided a Porter to collect us from the square so that we could find it more easily. We were upgraded to the Grand suite which was an amazing room and I loved the special touches of flowers and balloons as we were celebrating our 25th Anniversary. The breakfast was amazing, eating it on the sun terrace looking out over the Caldera. I would recommend this boutique hotel to anyone looking for a very quiet place to stay, with your own plunge pool and the fun of staying in a cave-style room.

This is a classic Santorini hotel with the beautiful decor and attention to detail. We were met at the ferry by the hotel driver who was friendly and welcoming. Our home away from home was a beautiful cave-like individual dwelling painted in the traditional blue and white with the "Santorini look"' It was fabulous! A great breakfast on the terrace, a nice pool, lovely restaurant, views of Oia and the neighboring islands and of course the endless blue of the Aegean. Oia is an easy 20 minute walk away or the hotel will provide transport for you. Couldn't ask for more. I totally recommend this lovely hotel.

Such a stunning view! I'll definitely be recommending this hotel to my friends. It's a wonderful place for a holiday, rich with historical significance. The breakfast was excellent, and nestled in this ancient mountain town, it's truly a gem. Just a heads up, you might encounter varying taxi prices from different sources.

One of the best hotels I stayed on my life, great heated pool, great design, great people.
We had problem with ferry and it get cancelled and we asked for late checkout, which was acceptable, they tried really to help to have a solution.
They also recommend good restaurants and good activities around the area.
The only thing that can be better is the welcoming, it should be a drink or fruits like other hotels, also the breakfast wasn't that big, but those aren't important.

Great location, beautiful sights. Be prepared to walk and use the stairs a lot. Can cover it all in 2-3 days, so can make it a long weekend. Once tourist season starts, it'll get very crowded though - so May or September/Oct ideal.

We traveled to Oia in the end of April, which is just the beginning of their high season. The weather was cool, a bit breezy, and always nice and warm in the afternoons. The traffic was slowed at times because the streets are narrow, and there is not a lot of parking. Because of the steep cliff side dwellings, there was a lot of walking up/down steps which were uneven. Someone with physical difficulty would not easily navigate the steps. All the shop and restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The view from anywhere in Oia is magnificent. Oia is a place on earth that is a “must see,” and now we can cross it off our bucket list.

Our decision to disembark at Oia Santorini was extempore at the end of our 7 day Greek Island cruise. It was mid March and just perfect in terms of weather and crowd. I went out for morning walks and I had the entire strip for myself. The weather was in 60s and 70s. No rain except for the last day. It was interesting to see the whole town getting ready for Spring and Summer. They were white washing walls and getting their commercial spaces ready.
Very few places have impressed me with the esthetic beauty like this. The nature and the man-made structures compete for the attention and they co-exist. The beauty is stunning and it takes 48 hours to stop taking photographs everywhere you go.
We stayed in Oia for six days. It was a long 3 days weekend and for Ash Monday. Only on one of these 6 days, we saw some crowds at the Sunset point and it wasn't pleasant. Many restaurants were open. Restaurants on the main strip are expensive for eating out every day. You can explore the off beaten paths to find hidden gems that that charge you non-tourist rates.. You can also shop at the local grocery store and eat selectively at restaurants.
If you don't like crowds and waiting in the lines, I highly recommend visiting in March and November. I heard stories from locals that the Summer has been very crowded in the past few years. The cruise ships have made the matters worse.
Here are some recommendations.
Restaurants: Candouni - Must try for dining,
Cafe popular with locals. Piatsa Souvlaki. Excellent food.
Skiza cafe.- Pizza, Sandwiches, Ice cream.
Morning coffee and snacks. : Passaris bakery

Because we went slightly off season, the beginning of October, we enjoyed less tourists. I cannot imagine July/August heat and crowds. We did a sunset catamaran cruise, really recommend that, for a once in a lifetime day trip. Lots of great restaurants around and lots of scams so be careful. Cabs are expensive, so ask up front. Buses take forever and minibuses drop you off any old where......If you book a lovely hotel with transportation included you'll be fine. Ammoudi beach is a great sunset spot with yummy food......
Staying at Oia Memories Suites made our first time on Santorini incredibly special. All the team were so welcoming and accommodating. We instantly relaxed in this cosmopolitan yet traditional hotel. The suites themselves are immaculate and tastefully styled, while situated in a stunning spot. We started the day with a lovely breakfast, delivered to our room which we highly recommend taking. We could also access the nearby hotel facilities including the pool which was an added bonus.
Thank you to you all and warm wishes from Edinburgh!
My stay at Pearl of Caldera was fantastic. The hotel is beautiful and looks just like the pictures. The staff were all so friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was served in the reception’s kitchen area and you can take it back to your room/patio. There were a wide variety of toasts, cakes, egg dishes, Greek yogurt and other options.
It rained one day I was there but I was still able to go for a swim in the pool, which has beautiful views of Santorini and the surrounding islands.
I would definitely recommend staying here!
This hotel is so underrated. The best views of Santorini is from this hotel, overlooking the Caldera. There were a lot of photoshoot took place by the entrance of this hotel. The staff gave us a lemonade slushie refreshment when we got there. The hospitality is beyond amazing. All the staff were very nice! We also booked a massage through the hotel. 100% recommend. Oh, they also gave us a complimentary bottle of water and local wine to enjoy. Will definitely come back and stay here if we ever visit again. Thank you!!
The location was a perfect quiet area of Oia, but still close proximity to all the restaurants and shops. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was AMAZING— very welcoming, helpful and attentive. Adriana was wonderful, reaching out prior to our arrival and throughout the stay to help with transportation, reservations etc. We loved our stay at Kima Oia Suites and would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Santorini.
If you are looking for perfection including in all the small details, you have to book this hotel. The location is the best, with the greatest view, food is amazing, service is exceptional, rooms (we stayed at the windmill) are luxurious and beautiful. The manager of the hotel is so friendly and kind and making this whole experience amazing. Santorini is an amazing island but if you’d like to step it up- this is the hotel!!
Great accommodation with an amazing pool area, you could even order food and drinks to the pool deck area. The hotel was also extremely clean and staff were very friendly and helpful.
Additionally, every morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast by the pool. I loved our time at Anemoessa Villa and would choose to stay there again when visiting Santorini (Oia area) without hesitation. We loved it.
I absolutely loved this new hotel! The staff was very kind, the food by the pool and the breakfast were lovely and the room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The hotel is modern with a very authentic and laid back, elegant Santorini-styled architecture. Very well located just next to everything you need to see in Oia. Hope we are back one day! Thanks for a wonderful stay!
amazing staff and amenities. We were immediately upgraded to a private suite with a private infinity pool. The views were spectacular and the breakfast was excellent
The staff is always looking to help and please it’s clients. The hotel is one of a few that offers an elevator. The location is superb, literally a few steps away from all the shops and taverns/restaurants of Oia.
Oia Waves is very near the Santorini beach. The place was perfect; it was big and the facilities were working. Johnny (Johnns), the hotel staff was kind and very helpful. We were amazed how he could carry 3 heavy luggages from our airbnb all the way to the top of Oia. If we were to go back to Santorini, we will get this place again.
The hotel location is absolutely amazing, in the heart of Oía, with a great view of the Caldera of Santorini.
Great breakfast is included. Rooms could be bigger but it is great to wake up, have breakfast or drink a good wine looking at that amazing view. Employees of the hotel are quite nice and careful with all the details.
The whole place was beautiful! The room was so big and spacious (#9) and each room had a patio which was awesome. Staff were really helpful and arranged the pick up and transfer which in Santorini, is really difficult. Would never have found the hotel otherwise. Just an overall magical place right in the middle of Oia!
Santorini is a particular island. Not my favorite at all. Getting to the units wasn't a pleasant task but you can say the same to 95% of all the hotels in Oia.
OIA Memories staff was excellent, the room was ample and clean and prices were fair. The view from that side of the island is great.
Best hotel we stayed at in Santorini. Great value for money. Really nice breakfast. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Its a bit outside Oia but we actually enjoyed this very much, not in the middle of the big crowds and just a short scooter ride to the center.
This place is just outstanding!
Is located in the most beautiful location in Oia with a beautiful sea view.
The personnel is super friendly and very helpful.
I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to spend a romantic time in Santorini
Everything was perfect. The family is so nice and kind. Kristina is a lovely person. The hotel is in a quiet part of Oia and the view on the Caldera is amazing. The price for the appartement is very correct for Santorini. We will definitely go back.
Everything was perfect… I still can't get over the breathtaking view from our villa, we had such an amazing stay in Santorini.
The staff was very nice and always willing to help us, I definitely recommend this hotel!!
Piscine was excellent! Santorini doesn't have good beaches so we enjoyed the piscine very much!the area was very very quiet. near imerovigli and oia by car or feet if you dare!! august is hot in Greece
Very nice hotel, situated within an easy walk to Oia or Finikia. Very friendly helpful host.
Great view looking towards the islands to the north of Santorini.
