The hostess at reception was very warm, communicated well and was very helpful. The check in process was clear and provided in good time. it made the whole process so easy. she was also a great help when we left to catch the train to the airport. Beautiful historic building with a secret roof-top garden. Very elegantly furnished rooms, great shower, comfortable bed. There's an excellent common area for the guests to make coffee, tea, with local sweet pastries as a compliment. My little girl loved the marshmallow and the gummies. :) There is a superb breakfast with great variety. The staff is super nice and helpful. The location is excellent. 10 mins walk to the Aquarium or to the zoo, close to the Ramblas, and it's next to the gothic quarter with its zig-zag little streets busting with life and nice little shops. Absolutely recommend it!

We loved our stay at Izaila. The room was spacious with beautiful view of Plaza Catalunya. The people there were just amazing and very helpful. And the location was excellent right with everything within a few minutes from the hotel.

The place it is very well maintained, typical Barcelonese building in a lovely and safe area near restaurants, shops and bars. The room with private bathroom very clean and conformable matrass and pillows. The host's cordiality offered information regarding points of interest, transportation there is a luggage deposit and a lounge room with free cakes, purified water and teas, fridge and freezer. Really good place to stay in a lovely location.
